Dive into our unique journey from humble beginnings in a small garage in 1956 to becoming a trusted name in water, home, and lifestyle solutions today.
1956
Hervé Closel imported fibreglass from Europe to satisfy his inquisite mind.
1958
The first Resiglas boats sailed in the Mauritian waters. Today, Resiglas Nautical offers a wide range of pirogues, leisure boats and speed boats.
1970
Resiglas was the first company to manufacture water tanks in Mauritius thus contributing to the supply of water to Mauritian households. Our technology has evolved, but the know-how has remained the same.
1991
Resiglas pioneered fiberglass swimming pool manufacturing in the Indian Ocean and continues to offer a broad range of pool and equipment.
2015
Resiglas implemented a Quality Management System and has been awarded an ISO 9001: 2015 certificate.
2018
Resiglas became a member of APTIS Group, the starting point of a new venture.
2020
Resiglas diversified into five product universes: storage, poolside, nautical, professional, sustainable and marked a new chapter through its rebranding.
2023
Resiglas marks its 65 years of dedication to improving Mauritian homes and family well-being, with a commitment to continue for generations to come.
